U12 RTC BOYS AND GIRLS - WINTER CLOSING Wednesday, April 6 6:30-8pm - ALL PLAYERS RTC CLOSING EVENT

U9,U10,U11 & U12 RTC SUMMER EVALUATION EVENINGS South Shore will be operating Regional Training Center teams (RTC) for U9,U10,U11 and U12 aged boys and girls this coming Summer. The U10 program will practice weekly starting on Tuesday, May 17. The U12 program will be offered on Wednesday evenings starting on May 18. There is no cost to attend the selection evenings. The RTC program is designed to provide an enhanced training and game environment for the players and is designed to work with the member SSDSA club program in the Summer. Practices and games are scheduled to avoid conflict with the club program.

RTC EVALUATION SCHEDULE: U9/10 Boys on Tuesday, May 3 and 10 @ 5:00pm U9/10 Girls on Wednesday, May 4 and 11 @ 5:30pm U11/12 Boys on May 4 and 11 @ 6:30pm U11/12 Girls on May 4 and 11 @ 7:30pm All sessions are at HB Studios Sports Centre. Please bring a completed ID Form to the session.

RTC training provides an age appropriate high performance environment for players to develop and refine their abilities and habits. Q. Who is RTC for ? A. RTC training is for the young player that is interested in exploring their competitive potential in soccer. Players must have a fundamental base and positive training habits to be accepted into the program.
Q. When can my child try out for RTC ? A. The RTC program has two player intake periods. One in early October and one in early May. New players can also be considered at any time by arranging an evaluation evening with the program director. RTC will always consider new players at any time. There is no tryout fee.
Q. My son/daughter plays a second sport - is this a problem ? A. Generally NO. The RTC staff work hard to accomodate second sport commitments and recognizes that young players have many interests.
Q. Is there financial assistance available so that my cild can participate in the RTC program ? A. YES. There are many avenues available to you. Financial assistance is available through KIDSPORT, JUMP START, PRO KIDS and can also be accessed by contacting the program director. Payment plans can also be developed to suit your personal needs.
